Holiday Pines

I am getting a few last minute Christmas cards done.  For this one, I used the Global Design Project Challenge for inspiration - O Christmas Tree (#GDP219) along with THIS picture from LTD Commodities (Splitcoaststampers.com Inpiration Challenge this weekend).


 I used the trees in SU! Wonderland and inked them in various shades of green and a few in a little black. 


The sentiment is from DRS Designs because I couldn't find my SU! sentiment like this.  Sponged the bg before stamping.  The gems are CTMH.  A super quick card.

Today kicks off the newest Pattie's Creations Challenge which is Tags . Just Tags. No cards with Tags on or in them - just tags. I love to make just tags so this one was right up my alley. I used the super cute Penguin image from Pattie's Creations, but I couldn't stop at just one so I made a little penguin family. My tag is made from an old cardboard box top which I peeled down, painted, distressed a bit, and then added some snow medium. My bow is actually a new bow designed by Pamela Lehto (available at Squigglefly tomorrow). A Bit of Tea, Horses, and a Cowboy

 I love when my children follow in my footsteps and beyond (only the cool footsteps, of course).   My daughter, Allie, has developed a love of tea.  She sent me this picture over the weekend of her having tea in her newly remodelled bedroom.   She was drinking Breakfast in Paris tea in one of her favorite thrift store mugs.  This is my ticket to the T-day gathering over at Elizabeth's blog .  To join us, all you have to do is have a drink related post (can be any type of drink).   The neighborhood horses have been gathering in our backyard for some reason. Our horse refuses to come up near our house because the lady who owns all these horses gives her much better treats.  They all jump the fences and visit everyone.  The mule in the picture is actually named after me because I named one of cows after the neighbor (he paid me back - lol). I gave them apples when they came on Sunday, and they have come back every day since - lol....
