Hello Crafty Friends,
Today, I am playing in some fun challenges with this cute card:
The current House-Mouse &Friends Monday Challenge HMFMC #461 is Anything Goes with an optional theme of Pastels. I have some pastel paper in my layers. This card was made with ornaments from a SU! set, a cut up sentiment from RedLead Paperworks, and three mice I cut out of the Spellbinders Sew Sweet stamp set.
The background was inspired by Jeanne Streiff's MIX challenge on Splitcoaststampers.com last Friday where she asked us to make a background using a die cut as a stencil.

I love Christmas cards and this is so cute. Nice job fussy cutting. I'm terrible at that. Thanks for joining us at the HMFMC. {Bunny} Designer for House Mouse and Friends

Hi Nancy, I don't know if you saw that you won a prize on the challenge!! ;-)
ReplyDeleteThe trio of mice perched on the ornaments is such a fun and unexpected twist, and the soft pastel layers give the whole scene a gentle holiday glow. The way you used the die cut as a stencil adds great texture to the background, and the mix of images from different sets comes together so seamlessly. The playful movement across the card makes it feel lively and full of personality.
ReplyDeleteAmazing creativity. Eye catching colors and design.
