Flowers and the Good Word!

Hello friends, I have been having a great time this weekend.  I visited one of my favorite stores in the world yesterday, Resurrect Antiques.  They have fun and quirky antiques like old bins out of textile mills, lot of old signs, old buttons, and they have lots of fun new stuff like candles, jellies, and crafts.  It is a 1 1/2 drive for us, but we love to go and then stop to eat somewhere fun on the way back.  I also had some time to make some fun cards I can share with you.

I cased my friend Audrie (girlgeek101) at SCS  (click HERE to see the card I cased).  Audrie is the Featured Stamper on SCS this week - congrats my friend.  I am entering this card in the current ODBD challenge - Holiday- it ends today so if you want to participate too, you need to hurry. I used the OBDB Christmas Verses stamp.

I also had time to participate in the SCS Inspiration Challenge which is to be inspired by the Harry and David site.  I was inspired by THIS picture.

I used the Hydrangea and Hot Air Balloons stamp sets from MFP for this one.

Thanks for visiting!

Hugz!!!

  3. Sounds like you had a great time shopping at your favorite store. I'm very happy you were able to to that. It's also nice to spend a day doing everything you like to do. Then you came home and made gorgeous cards that we all like to see, so thank you for that. Love both of your cards today. Enjoy the day.
