Hello friends! Hope I still have some followers left after my super long blogging break!
I took a break because of the time commitment with being on the Dirty Dozen at Splitcoast Stampers. Boy was that fun!
Well now my term is over and I am coming baaak as soon as hubby recovers from his pacemaker he had installed on Monday!
Before I go, I am going to share the BAJ page I did a few nights ago:
I did it for the color challenge at SCS and for the BAJ challenge at SCS (Joy). I drew the elements and colored them up with pencils and watercolors. I so wish I had spent more time on my handwriting but it is what it is.
There is so much Joy in being a Christian - joy despite all the tough parts of life. We have it so easy with all our conveniences these days, but the conveniences can't help with the emotional toughness of life. Losing loved ones, losing health, and watching others do the same. But there are soooo many blessings if we look and think. I am so blessed! I am especially blessed with my husband's recent pacemaker. He went to his doctor a few months ago and got mad when the doctor told him he had diabetes over a phone message. So, he went to my doctor to discuss it. My doctor listened to his heart and found something wasn't right. She sent him to a specialist and they found the bottom part of his heart wasn't working like it should. They made him wear a monitor and found that his heart rate was dropping to the 30s and stopping periodically. Now he has a pacemaker. What a blessing - this is a God thing!
Many hugz!

So lovely! And so good to see you back again in the blogging world. You and your lovely creations were missed. Hope your hubby is doing just fine.
ReplyDeleteHi Nancy, so glad you are back and that your DH has a new pacemaker. It should make a world of difference. What a blessing that he was unhappy with his dr. and switched to yours. TFS your story...there is a lesson in your story...besides being blessed. Get a 2nd opinion if you are not getting the answers and help from your medical specialist. Listen to your body and concerns. Take care my friend and again congratulations for being chosen as a SCS Dirty Girl. We are now Sistahs...my friend!!! Hugs..
ReplyDeleteFabulous Bible Journaling here - Sorry to hear about your hubby - but you are right on with the blessings - always great to take a break you know - have a blessed week
ReplyDeleteMom has a pacemaker and it is the best thing she ever did. Glad the doc found it!! Agree with you, having an endless supply of JOY even in the hard times due to Christ is such a blessing!! Lovely job on the picture in the journal bible :)
ReplyDeleteYour page is amazing, what a great way to get back into the swing. Hope you had a blast with D12. Hugs, Autumn
