An Angel


Sparkle, Sparkle, Sparkle is the theme at Paper Cupcakes/There's Magic in the Air. I used the lovely Angel image and added sparkle everywhere even though you can't tell from this picture. I should have redone the picture, but I gave the card to my boss when she was ordained as an Evangelist last week. She loved it. There is sparkle on the halo, the wings, and the raised parts of the embossing on my panels.

    Beautiful angel and it looks wonderful with the musical paper. I enlarged it and could see the sparkle even better. I know it really shows irl.

    Oh how sweet. Love all those luscious layers and how you chose the music background to compliment the angel. I can see the sparkle no worries there....I know bling when I see it....lol As a matter of fact is that the Michael's Glitter paper. I have some of that! It's really pretty and I haven't cut into mine yet. I know your boss will cherish this and treasure it as a keepsake. It's just gorgeous.

Today kicks off the newest Pattie's Creations Challenge which is Tags . Just Tags. No cards with Tags on or in them - just tags. I love to make just tags so this one was right up my alley. I used the super cute Penguin image from Pattie's Creations, but I couldn't stop at just one so I made a little penguin family. My tag is made from an old cardboard box top which I peeled down, painted, distressed a bit, and then added some snow medium. A Bit of Tea, Horses, and a Cowboy

 I love when my children follow in my footsteps and beyond (only the cool footsteps, of course).   My daughter, Allie, has developed a love of tea.  She sent me this picture over the weekend of her having tea in her newly remodelled bedroom.   She was drinking Breakfast in Paris tea in one of her favorite thrift store mugs.  This is my ticket to the T-day gathering over at Elizabeth's blog .  To join us, all you have to do is have a drink related post (can be any type of drink).   The neighborhood horses have been gathering in our backyard for some reason. Our horse refuses to come up near our house because the lady who owns all these horses gives her much better treats.  They all jump the fences and visit everyone.  The mule in the picture is actually named after me because I named one of cows after the neighbor (he paid me back - lol). I gave them apples when they came on Sunday, and they have come back every day since - lol....
