It's a Mother's Day Card Challenge at Pattie's Creations. I used Pattie's Morning Glory stamp. As I am still feeling really lazy when it comes to coloring, I colored this image by dragging it through some Tim Holtz ink misted with glimmer mist. I just love how you automatically get color variations and it takes no time! Then I added a bit of gel pen and Stickles. Quick and easy - that is how I have had to roll the last few weeks with my work schedule, helping my daughter study for finals, and my laptop problems (which are fixed yay). I am off this weekend on a little trip but I plan to be back to normal next week.
Come join the challenge! Hugz!
Nancy, this is stunning! I love the old hymn paper you used.....it's perfect against the color of the morning glories. Such a pretty card!!!!

Happy to hear that your laptop is fixed, and enjoy your weekend trip! It doesn't matter how easy this card was for you to do because you always get great results no matter what you do! I'm really liking the morning glory as a blue flower (not sure what colors they come in) and it looks so pretty with the background tones!

We all get into those slumps where we just don't have the time or inclination to colour with markers. I can't believe the effect you got doing it the way you did! Great music background too!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty card and an excellent choice to use the music background!
ReplyDeleteThis is a beautiful card, such a pretty image and the hymn music is the perfect background.
