Frosty Cards

On Splitcoaststampers.com, the CAS challenge this week is icy/frosty cards, and I am stuck on them!!

I am feeling frosty even if the weather here in Central Alabama is still on the warm side.  Some of the new images are great for frosty cards.  I used the new Snowy Days Frosty Nights Greeting and added some Snowtex and glitter to get a frosty look. 


I added some fun little Skippy the Penguins at the bottom of my new Stitched Dies. 


On this card, I used my new MFT snowball stencil and Stitched Rectangle die plus an old heart punch and birch tree die (I think it is also from MFT).  I used modeling paste mixed with white chalk paint to make the falling snow and Snowtex mixed with glitter for the snow accumulations.  The sentiment is SU!  I love how this came out.

    Love both of these cream colored cards, and at first, thought the snow was frontage (which I have a time working with). Interested to learn it was another product. Surely does create the feel of icy snow. Love the treatments on both of these darling cards. Good job on both of them!! TFS & Hugs (stay warm & dry if you get any of the weekend rains I'm hearing about. We have one day warm & sunny, next day gloomy & chilly).

    Happy New Year, my dear blog friend. Your cards are very stylish and classy. The first one and the second are equally nice so I could not pick a fave. I love the formality of both of them and yes, the penguins add so much fun. I love penguins. The effect of snow is awesome.

Hello Crafty Friends! I love Halle's theme at **Art*Journal*Journey* this month: Botanicals. So many possibilities... I combined the botanical theme with some of the colors in ARTNUDGE#725A and came up with this Bible Art Journal page focusing on 1 Timothy 2:1-2. I also made a patriotic prayer card too. In these verses, Paul tells Timothy (and all of us) to pray for everyone but he especially calls out prayer for kings and leaders. He indicates that this type of prayer could lead us to a tranquil and quite life in all godliness and dignity. Wise Words for Life's Storms

 My first post as a Guest Designer for Creative Worship Stamps. This watercolor and ink card features one of my favorite CWS sentiments - Big God . I am so grateful He is there in storms and this stamp beautifully underscores His power. The main panel of this card is watercolor paper and was painted with Daniel Smith Watercolors and Liquid Ink (the white highlights in the rain drops).
