Wings!


Can You Digi It? is donating 100% of the proceeds (minus PayPal fees) of this image to Charity Wings (check them out at www.charitywings.org). The image was designed by LilyPink Designs and it is so fun to work with. In fact, it was so fun that I made two cards!

I used this awesome image on both cards. On the top card, I also used Prima Madeline paper, SU! Very Vanilla Seam Binding, SU! Butterfly embosslit, a page out of an old dictionary, SU! Chocolate chip ink, Stickles, the Cheery Lynn Flourish die, and a paper doily. On the second card, I used some great Hobby Lobby Kraft dp, a button, a feather,and some raffia.

These cards were so fun to make because I knew the money I paid for the image went to a good cause and also, this image is just so great.

    Nancy, two great cards. I really do like that digi and you always do the 'bestest' things with feathers. It is always a delight to see your card and the wonderful details.

    These cards are awesome. I love looking at all the techniques and details. I really like lumpy, bumpy cards and lots of textures.

    Both cards are over-the-top amazing!! The image looks fantastic on both cards with all the great embellishments, but I just love that raffia!

Some Penguins

Today kicks off the newest Pattie's Creations Challenge which is Tags . Just Tags. No cards with Tags on or in them - just tags. I love to make just tags so this one was right up my alley. I used the super cute Penguin image from Pattie's Creations, but I couldn't stop at just one so I made a little penguin family. My tag is made from an old cardboard box top which I peeled down, painted, distressed a bit, and then added some snow medium. A Bit of Tea, Horses, and a Cowboy

 I love when my children follow in my footsteps and beyond (only the cool footsteps, of course).   My daughter, Allie, has developed a love of tea.  She sent me this picture over the weekend of her having tea in her newly remodelled bedroom.   She was drinking Breakfast in Paris tea in one of her favorite thrift store mugs.  This is my ticket to the T-day gathering over at Elizabeth's blog .  To join us, all you have to do is have a drink related post (can be any type of drink).   The neighborhood horses have been gathering in our backyard for some reason. Our horse refuses to come up near our house because the lady who owns all these horses gives her much better treats.  They all jump the fences and visit everyone.  The mule in the picture is actually named after me because I named one of cows after the neighbor (he paid me back - lol). I gave them apples when they came on Sunday, and they have come back every day since - lol....
