A Magnolia



Two posts in one day! This week's Pattie's Creations Challenge is Mother's Day and I have a friend at work who asked me to do 4 Mother's Day cards as she needed to send a few late cards. This lovely Pattie's Creations Magnolia Branch image was perfect. I printed out the image a bit larger and added an extra bloom. I sponged around a roll of ribbon for the shading and twisted a Spellbinders die to add to my frame.

    This is beautiful and your friend will very happy that she asked you to make her cards. Oh good idea to use a ribbon spool while shading. Thanks for that. Your shadowing is perfect and gives the whole card a beautiful vintage feel. Like that SB die and the button also. Someone is going to be thrilled to receive this.
