Zombie Humor


This week's Dude Time Doodles Challenge is to make something with at least two shades of blue. I love this Zane Zombie image from Dude Time Doodles. He could be colored a bunch of colors, but I thought blue would be a great color. The image can be ordered with a lot of cool Zombie sentiments, but I typed mine up since I forgot to get the sentiments (shame on me). Thanks to Walking Dead, Zombies are sooo in right now.

    Once Crystal gets married, how about you come to visit and we go to Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios in Orlando in October!!!! I have been about 4 times with Wesley (Ryan and my DH hate that stuff) and it's a blast. You would love it-I see your dark side Nancy!!! lol I laugh myself scared when I go.

    This card reminds me of the movies Dawn of the Dead and Night of the Living Dead. He's Zombielicious!!!! I love the sentiment-it made me giggle. Your cards are so full of humor and are a great way to start my day. Thanks for the fun and the friendship!!!

    OMGoodness Nancy - your colouring on Zane is brilliant! His eyes pop so much, surrounded by the blue! Fabulous card! You have a wonderful sense of humour and I always look forward to seeing your projects! You have outdone yourself on this one!

Hello Crafty Friends! I love Halle's theme at **Art*Journal*Journey* this month: Botanicals. So many possibilities... I combined the botanical theme with some of the colors in ARTNUDGE#725A and came up with this Bible Art Journal page focusing on 1 Timothy 2:1-2. I also made a patriotic prayer card too. In these verses, Paul tells Timothy (and all of us) to pray for everyone but he especially calls out prayer for kings and leaders. He indicates that this type of prayer could lead us to a tranquil and quite life in all godliness and dignity. I think we can all agree that the world needs much prayer right now and it is an easy step we can take.   I experimented on this journal page. I usually cover any bible journal pages with gesso before painting on them, but I have issues with the gesso gumming up my Micron pens or unevenly taking color. This time I used Daniel Smith Ground Medium in Titanium White (I mixed it with 10 parts water). I loved it and will be using it in the fut...

Wise Words for Life's Storms

 My first post as a Guest Designer for Creative Worship Stamps. This watercolor and ink card features one of my favorite CWS sentiments - Big God . I am so grateful He is there in storms and this stamp beautifully underscores His power. The main panel of this card is watercolor paper and was painted with Daniel Smith Watercolors and Liquid Ink (the white highlights in the rain drops).
