Hello my friends - it is day two of the MFP Blog Hop for August!
Featured Aug. 13
Come on back tomorrow for more creativity.
Details on my card: I used a stencil and watercolors to make my bg - I did a color wash and then I splattered some of the other colors I used on the paper after it dried. To color up my hydrangea, I mixed my colors on a large block sprayed it with water and dragged my image through the ink. Then I put on some Inka Gold Metalic rub in silver and then added some gems. Fun and super easy.
Hugz!

ReplyDeleteBest regards,
Lidya (Cloud's project)
Lovely background and very pretty sheen on the Hydrangea.
ReplyDeleteThe variation in color in that hydrangea makes it look so realistic. We had hydrangeas when we lived in Pennsylvania, and they varied in color depending on the acidity of the soil. Beautiful card!
ReplyDeleteNancy this is a very pretty card.

This is beautiful. You sure worked magic mixing those colors and dragging the flower through it.
ReplyDeleteLove this! It always amazes me when you say you run the image through the inks. If I did that, it would be a muddy mess.
